Goobers General Store was a dream and vision of Jim and Doreen. Initially when this was purchased they had planned to put an antique store in. It then became self-evident that the store needed to be resurrected to its former glory. In the Spring of 2014 Jim and Doreen opened the doors to patrons selling fuel, food and convenience store items. As time went on they added a kitchen, and two new dining areas to accommodate the growing customer base that was eating and shopping at the store.

The time has come as it does for all of us, for Jim and Dorreen to take a new path. Jim is the gun guy by trade and wants to get back to doing what he does best.
